REFUND POLICY

All treatments and products are non-refundable but we will be more happy to exchange treatments or issue store credits.

CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULES

All bookings must be held with a valid credit card.

In some cases, a small hold will be placed on the card and depending on the type of appointment and time you select (premium appointments), you may be required to hold with a non-refundable deposit.

Please read and confirm the information on all screens before booking your appointment.

Your appointments are very important to Skin Expert Kate Medical Aesthetics and are reserved especially for you. 

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 48-hour notice

This includes product pick-up appointments. 

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

Our Online Booking System sends out two reminders via text (so make sure you opt-in for those) and an email 48 hours in advance. 

In the email, you are provided with links you can use to update or make any changes to your existing appointment.

Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and cancellation fees. 

Since the service(s) are reserved for you, a Cancellation/Rescheduling fee will apply.

If you do not cancel/reschedule within the required time, the following fees will be applied to your card for up to 100% of services booked or alternatively billed out to you via square:

  • Cancellations/reschedule within 48 hours prior to your appointment will not incur charges. You must log in and cancel or reschedule your appointment. It is your responsibility to cancel appointments. Text or emails will not be accepted as a form of cancellation or to reschedule.

  • Cancelling/rescheduling less than 48 hours prior to appointment time will result in a full charge of the service booked.

  • Failure to show up for your appointment will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service value.

If you cannot respect my policies, then I will not risk doing business with you.

This Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy allows time for me to inform my waitlist clients of any availability and keep my schedule filled with serving everyone better.

The Cancellation /Rescheduling Policy also applies to any prepaid services.

NO SHOW POLICY

No-Shows will be charged 100 percent of the reserved service value.

Failure to show up for your prepaid treatment/consultation appointment results in losing the payment made.

Clients who have prepaid a series of treatments or a package that is No-Shows or have Late Cancellations for their scheduled appointments will automatically be deducted the cancellation fee from the package balance and must pay the balance to continue treatment.

There is zero tolerance for No-Show appointments. Any No-Show appointment may be subject to a required security, booking fee deposit or full payment before future treatments are performed.

Medical emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Your appointment is considered confirmed at the time of booking. You must cancel/reschedule via online booking within the 48-hour requirements to avoid a missed appointment charge.

LATE ARRIVALS

Skin Expert Kate Medical Aesthetics offers services by appointment only. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment on time.

Due to limited space, if you do arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment, please follow our curbside check; you will be notified when to come in, so please wait until you are indicated to go into your scheduled appointment.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time to ensure that the next client is not delayed.

Please understand that we cannot adjust pricing for reduced service time due to late arrival.

After 15 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled or rescheduled with any applicable fees. If you do not contact us when running late and choose to “not show up”, you will be considered a No-Show and will be charged 100 percent of the scheduled treatment time/procedure cost.
